Air Bearing Housing
We offer 3 types of housing to combine with our Blue Ring Air Bearings:
Model KR 0xx GS:
This is our smallest model. The air bearing will be positioned in the housing using 2 O-rings and 2 securing rings to avoid axial movement of the bearing. By using O-rings, the air bearings will have a flexible fit and will give limited self adjusting properties.
Model KR 0xx G:
Our G model supports the air bearings on the overall length. Fix the aire bearing with 2 O-rings and 2 securing rings. Fixation will remain flexible. Do you prefer a higher stiffness, please select 2 additional O-rings for fixating.
Model KR 0xx GY:
Similar to our G model except the additional epoxy channels we put in our GY model. When you fixate the air bearing with epoxy in its housing, you will obtain the highest achievable stiffness of your air bearing construction. Always contact our engineers for further instructions when you prefer this housing model.
Model KR 0xx GS:
