The business started 87 years ago co-operating with Kanthal from Sweden selling resistance wire. This resistance wire becomes hot under electrical current. Specifically in The Netherlands, heating systems powered by electricity are trending again, as a replacement for gas heated systems used for decades. Electrical heating is an important niche for us with new opportunities.
But Kracht does more than electrical heating. Our bearing department is a niche player for sliding bearings. For machine builders, marine applications and offshore structures. Once started with a cupboard of sinterbronze, we now offer thousands of sizes in all kind of materials and in various shapes.
The next weeks we shall present a new range of products: Air Bearings
Not only the air bearings themselves, but basically all kind of components to construct complete air bearing systems. We will offer air units, pressure regulators, flow controllers, pneumatic hoses, push in fittings. And further air bearing housings, linear shaft, support blocks and o-rings.
