For some applications standard ball bearings are not the best solution. Sometimes sliding bearings out perform ball bearings. We offer retrofit solutions for standard Y bearing housings.
Dirt and heat. Standard Y bearings like YET or YAR, YEL or YAT not always meet expectations in harsh environments. Seals break down, dirt particles between rolling elements resulting in wear and an early end-of-life.
Our solution is a replacement sliding bearing.
Based on an existing SKF housing like model SY or FYTB. Or an INA-FAG-SCHAEFFLER can be used too.
A spherical ball is mounted. We use aluminium, chromesteel or stainless steel depending on the application.
Then we press in a selflubricating bearing. Cylindrical or a collar bearing in case of axial loads.
You can choose:
- selflubricating sinterbronze
- selflubricating manganese bronze with solid lubricant plugs
- selflubricating engineering plastic Vesconite Hilube
